About Us

Opus Innovations Ltd was established in 2009 by Bola and Chigusa Lafe to create innovative solutions to everyday problems (initially in the Parent-Child sector) and introduce them to the market place. In addition to developing products in-house, we also work hard to discover and distribute truly innovative solutions from around the world that we feel would bring benefits to peoples lives.

Our products have generally come about either because we have developed a solution to a problem that we wanted to solve for ourselves in the absence of available solutions, or we have identified a product out there that solves a problem that we can all associate with, but very few people are aware of the product.

Our Cleebo® Baby & Kids Nasal Mucus Tweezers was the first product we developed from scratch as a direct result of having a problem with our daughter when she was 3 months old, and we were unable to find a safe and effective solution to deal with it. Our Aquaint® sanitiser/steriliser on the other hand is an example of a product we ‘loved at first sight’ as everything about it was natural and safe, but the power of the product was simply astonishing for a vast number of reasons. To cut a very long story short, we approached the President of the Japanese company who makes the equivalent product in Japan with a proposal to be their distributor in the ‘West’, and today we have an exclusive contract to manufacture the product in Europe, the US and Canada.

Until May 2011, Bola was a Managing Director at one of the world’s leading Global Banks, focusing on Cost & Expense Management. Bola’s career in the banking sector spanned 21 years, and he is also a qualified Chartered Surveyor.

Chigusa’s interests and background were firmly rooted in the natural health arena, and until Bola lured her into the world and vision of Opus Innovations, she was most recently fully committed to being a mum and housewife, which continues to be her main focus.
